Once upon a time, there was a backpacker
Surely you’ve had that thought at some point…
“What if I just say screw it all and walk away?”
Well, let’s just say I reached that point — and now I’m winging it with MyWorldAround, juggling life as best I can while making this backpacking adventure happen.
I quit my job and time suddenly hit fast-forward. So, I had to get my act together too and, without overthinking it, I booked myself a one-way ticket to Georgia (excuse me?).
The plan? Hmm… Burn through my savings and see what comes to me along the way.
♡ Spoiler: I’ve no idea either — but I imagine it’ll all start to make sense eventually. ♡
And what’s this all for, then?
It’s important to say that MyWorldAround is NOT your typical travel guide.
I simply love writing — and if I can bring something to someone else along the way, that’s a win for me. (And let’s be honest, as much as I love pen and paper… that would just add extra weight to the backpack.)
So this will be my journal — with the chaos of the Before the Trip, a way to freeze and share everything beautiful (or not) about the During, and we’ll see what happens in the After.
